MY JOURNEY - A life-changing Opportunity
I am pleased to share that I have been a beneficiary of Restored Futures International (RFI) Foundation since 2013, when I joined university.
I performed very well in my high school final examinations and received an admission letter to a public university in Kenya to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Interior and Fashion Design.
Coming from an needy background, I had experienced many struggles, including lacking basic necessities such as food, clothing, and bus fare. This situation became even more difficult when I joined university and it was time to begin my classes. Eventually, it became difficult for me to continue with my studies.
This was when RFI Foundation intervened and came to my aid. The Foundation catered for my school fees, accommodation, and upkeep until I completed my course.
The support made it possible for me to continue my studies and complete my Bachelor’s degree in Interior and Fashion Design.
After completing my studies, RFI Foundation continued supporting me until I secured a good job with a marketing agency in Nairobi City.
Through this opportunity, I was able to earn an income and support myself as well as my family.
I am sincerely thankful to RFI Foundation for the helping hand they gave me and for offering me an opportunity to pursue my dreams in the design industry.
