MY JOURNEY - Losing My Parents

My two siblings and I lost our parents when we were young. As the firstborn, I had to take responsibility for raising my siblings. With no source of income, I became the sole breadwinner for our family.

Struggling to Provide

I lost the only job I had, leaving me unable to afford rent and other basic necessities. My siblings eventually went their separate ways in search of people who could help them.

It was during this difficult period that I reached out to the founder of RFI Foundation, Pastor John Macere.

Support When We Needed It Most

RFI Foundation began supporting me by paying my rent, providing upkeep, and helping with our daily needs. This support gave us assistance at a time when we had very little.

Helping My Sister Pursue Education

My sister was a bright student and joined college in 2016. However, meeting the costs of her learning materials, clothing, food, and upkeep was beyond what we could afford.

RFI Foundation fully sponsored her education, including accommodation and upkeep. Although her studies were later delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, RFI continued supporting her.

Helping My Brother Rebuild

My brother became involved in substance abuse. RFI Foundation intervened and facilitated his full rehabilitation, while also providing the necessities he needed during that period.

A Family Supported

Through the support we received, my family was able to receive assistance with basic needs, education, and rehabilitation.

I remain grateful to RFI Foundation for standing with my family and supporting us through some of the most difficult moments of our lives.
