MY JOURNEY - A Life Changed in an Instant
In May 2022, I suffered a devastating attack in which a corrosive substance was splashed on my face.
The attack caused severe damage to my face and eyes and left me blind.
Seeking Treatment
Following the attack, I underwent three surgeries in Kenya. Unfortunately, the surgeries were unsuccessful in restoring my sight.
I was later advised to seek specialized medical treatment abroad.
RFI Came to My Rescue
RFI Foundation came to my rescue and enabled me to travel to India for specialized surgery.
The support from RFI gave me access to medical treatment that I could not have afforded on my own.
My treatment did not end with the surgery. RFI Foundation continues to cater for my treatments and medication as I go through the recovery process.
Slowly Recovering
I am slowly recovering from the injuries I suffered. My journey has been difficult, but the support I have received from RFI Foundation has continued to make a difference in my life.
I am deeply grateful to RFI Foundation for coming to my rescue, helping me access specialized treatment in India, and continuing to stand with me throughout my recovery.
